One of the littles in our family is having surgery on an arm today, they will be removing a bone growth, don’t know yet how extensive this will be.

Thank you. Little one is now out of surgery. Surgeon said the bone growth was massive and pinned under the 2 major nerves, which may cause some pain for awhile. Physical therapy will be needed. Samples were sent in for testing…praying it’s non cancerous.

Glad the surgery is over. Praying the pain will be small, the recovery fast and the results from the testing will be cause for joy.

Little one woke up from surgery in hysterics, slamming the casted arm on everything, trying to get it off. ☹️ Nurse said that’s not unusual when coming out of anesthesia. Hope things have calmed down, haven’t heard any news for awhile.

wildhorseluvr, prayers for the little one and your family, especially that there is no cancer. Anesthesia can do funny things to people, my Mom had to get surgery a few years ago and she had to be sedated after she woke up because she was trying to hit the nursing staff! Very out of character for her. Luckily for the staff she's pretty small and wasn't much of a threat. The nurse said that it happens to patients frequently. Please update us when you can and we will be praying!

Probably were up with the little one a lot last night and may be trying to catch up on sleep. I don’t want to call in case they’re napping. Hopefully will hear something later today.

Says the arm is a little sore but not bad (still on pain meds). Now if we can just get good news back from pathology.
