Liters of blood? A bit doubtful. A little blood goes a long way. Even trained OR nurses tend to overestimate blood loss when looking at sponges or blood on the OR floor and table.
Gonna have to be something like a pulmonary artery aneurysm, I'm guessing. Other conditions such as esophageal varices or bronchiectasis don't produce that much blood, that fast and under that much pressure.
