I have had some dealings with the feebs and NONE OF THEM were wearing jeans and an open neck short sleeve shirt from Pennies.
A valuable piece of information is that you can call the local FBI number at anyu time, day or night and simply say "I need to speak with an agent" and within seconds you WILL BE speaking with one.
I have known of instances where doing that very thing has saved people from local corrupt cops and I was able to straighten out an extreme example of local police corruption with a short phone call. State DPS took over the small town's police force for a while as they bleached the germs out of the local police department.
NOT that I think that they are as citizen friendly as they were in the past, so I would not utter a single sentence to them that I could avoid, but I would sure call the local office and report that I suspected that some dweebs were impersonating federal officers. .....Joe

joebill, Yeah, that's what I noticed too. The guy in the picture, with the very poor posture, unkempt appearance, and a build that wouldn't get him through the first day of PT training at the academy would have to show some really serious identification, and wait patiently on the doorstep while I made a couple phone calls. One to the FBI, and one to my attorney. Long story that I won't elaborate on, but one day I chased an IRS agent down the street, cut him off, and threatened serious bodily injury if he didn't go back to my office and apologize to my wife/secretary for mistakenly leaving her in tears. He did, and to my surprise not another thing came of it.

I worked in an independent garage in Tucson for a while and the IRS goons came to dun the owner for a payment he was supposedly late on, but he claimed otherwise. They finally admitted that the computers were down and he might just be telling the truth.
Guy I worked with asked them what they were driving because it might just be blocking a car we needed to bring in for repair, and they told him what their ride was.
He went out with a pair of vise grips and pulled each valve stem from the wheels, flattening every tire, and when they requested we repair it, we told them we were closing in 5 minutes.
It was gone next morning, so I dunno what happened to it.....Joe
