I ordered a 'free' blue square pin-show of Israeli support. They'd like you to make a donation, of course. What I was looking for was how to get a bunch of those blue squares, wanted to give 'em out at the Sr. Cntr...wondering if I could also do that at walmart.
Faytuks News Δ @faytuks "Israel is not sharing its targeting with the U.S., so the U.S. does not know what form the Israeli retaliation will take or when it will happen.
GOOD. It's THEIR country, THEIR sovereignty, THEIR people, THEIR land. We can't keep an invasion out of OUR COUNTRY; who are we to tell Israel what to do?

As far as both sides not being completely honest about what did or didn't happen, I was listening to a few people being interviewed about all this (former pentagon, NSA, State Dept., etc.) and in their opinion, that was a good thing, and I have to agree. If both sides are standing stoic and trying to save face that means they are not trying to throw gasoline on the fire.

Matthew 7:6
“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
I agree with your assessment to a point. I wouldn't call Israel's position as "stoic", I'd refer to it as a lesson to Iran that their air defense systems, such as they are, are useless against Israeli tactics and technology. They don't have to gloat, their point being made was aimed at the Ayatollah and the Mullahs that they just think they're capable of defending against Israel.
As to the target of the attack, the air base is very close to the Iranian nuclear facilities. That's a direct heads-up to the Iranians that if Israel had wanted to attack them their nuke facilities they could be glowing in the dark if Israel wished.
Just guessing, but the fact that Iran cleared their airspace would seem to indicate the Israelis slipped a few planes in amongst normal air traffic and went undetected. That would leave Iran with a problem. Do they restrict their airspace in the future to just absolutely know aircraft, or continue to leave themselves open to foreign aircraft that might be sending out bogus signals.
I'm siting here laughing and applauding the messages Israel sent, and the humbling lesson the Iranians have learned.
