wheels pull lighter than skids with a small tractor.just a thought. ---------- Yes... That is an option... To have pin on wheels on even just one end makes life easier..
We did that in the tool and die shop.. Built a couple assembly fixtures, close to 8' x 12' or so. On 4 legs With lift up one end, pin on axle and steel wheel to make easier moving. Pick up the other end with a fork lift..
To have pin on wheels on even one end makes life easier... Or maybe.. Pin on in the middle ?? Kind of pivot in the middle like the flat carts at the home improvement supply store ?? On dry ground, it doesn't take much to make a considerable difference. Back to the "good idea" note book..

My ex SIL had a shed he wanted to move, now mind you, this is a navy man, worked on nuclear sub's. Sorry, for stealing this thread, but too good not to share, They had a steel cable attached to building, hubby was going to pull it with his tractor ( think 18 wheeler type ) SIL looped it around his body so he could get it going in the right direction. A very white faced hubby bailed from the cab when he saw that in mirrors!!!

ceresone , If I didn't know you're an honest woman, I'd have a hard time believing anyone is that stupid. If it had been me in the cab of that truck I'd have had thoughts of a Darwin Award nomination.
