I can hear the cop taking a robbery report now:
"Can you describe the robber?" "Not without insulting someone, and losing my job, home, wife and family I can't."

When they get around to the abbreviations Mr. and Mrs., determine they are sexist and racists, we can just call everybody by their first names.............until they realize that's also their "Christian name". Whoops.

I was eating jelly beans at the poker table. The dealer was a black guy I know well and we often tease one another.
I don't like black jelly beans so I was offering them around the table. The dealer feigned insult, "what? You don't like the blacks? You're racist!"
I told him to call them African American jelly beans and that I wasn't racist because, "I didn't like the white ones either...but, don't worry, I do like the coloreds."
The whole table laughed and the dealer threatened to have all of us thrown out of the poker room.

Anybody noticed that we have yet to see a person faint upon hearing the word "denigrate" ? "If you "denigrate" someone, you attempt to blacken their reputation. It makes sense, therefore, that "denigrate" can be traced back to the Latin verb denigrare, meaning "to blacken." When "denigrate" was first used in English in the 16th century, it meant to cast aspersions on someone's character or reputation. Eventually, it developed a second sense of "to make black" ("factory smoke denigrated the sky"), but this sense is somewhat rare in modern usage. Nowadays, of course, "denigrate" can also refer to belittling the worth or importance of someone or something." No doubt about it, that word has GOT TO GO!....along with SOOO many others... .....Joe

Orwell, you clever devil, you knew this was coming, didn't you? I guess "new speak" will have people describing a white car as being "colorless". No, a white car is now melanin deficient.
