Gitmo will close. He will pardon about 600 to 1000 people who he considered abused by the establishment and it will not include any white cops. He will put a fire under many department and agency heads to finish embedding regulations deeply in their departments and these will cause effects that will come out like festering slivers for years.

Thought I'd bump this thread to attach a column by Victor Davis Hanson on this very subject. I'm especially taken by his remarks concerning all the "crazies" who predicted what kind of President obama would be.

Insidiously and inadvertently, Barack Obama is alienating the people and moving the country to the right. If he keeps it up, by 2017 it will be a reactionary nation. But, counterintuitive as it seems, that is fine with Obama: Après nous le déluge. By sheer force of his personality, Obama has managed to lose the Democratic Senate and House. State legislatures and governorships are now predominantly Republican. Obama’s own favorable ratings rarely top 45 percent. In his mind, great men, whether Socrates or Jesus, were never appreciated in their time. So it is not surprising that he is not, as he presses full speed ahead.

Ok, I don't like Obama, but there's a lot of govt I don't like. I do happen to read about him more than some other people sometimes cause he gets a lot of print. He's the president.

This article cracked me up.

1. He mentions that he understands that many people are discussing safety because of Paris for the first time since 9/11.

Really? I think everyone I know has had it crop up a few times since 9/11/01, lol.

2. He says that defeating terrorists will involve hard methodical work, not just more airstrikes.

I could imagine him recommending someone "think" their way out of a box, instead of physically move.

I think it was taken from him speaking about it being safe to travel for the holiday.

Just made me giggle to read.

I sure hope and pray that y'all are wrong.    I despise his policies and think he is a complete arrogant jerk to go with it.  I pray that he leaves office as every other president has done when his term is up and that we never hear about him again.

He will leave office either dead or alive. Check the election laws and you will find that citizens don't have to vote to elect a president only the electoral collage must vote and the states can appoint the electorates.
