Now why would the term 'master bedroom' offend a black homeowner? They don't want to be master of their homes & thus sleep in the master bedroom? Frankly, I'm deeply offended by the term African American.....or Hispanic American or Asian American. I think all those terms should all be banned.

I saw on the news this morning that some companies were going to remove anything on their products that promote their "whitening" abilities.
Toothpaste, laundry detergent and such will no longer make the "whitening" claim.
Things are clearly going beyond stupid.

Orwell, you clever devil, you knew this was coming, didn't you?
I guess "new speak" will have people describing a white car as being "colorless".

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in my life time trying to get my skin, brown.
Teeth are white. Stained teeth are yellow. To unstain teeth from yellow to white, is to whiten?

And they would be wrong and "going against the science", which is what the liberals are supposedly all about.
Black is scientifically defined as the absence of color and "white light", at least, is comprised of all of the colors mushed together.
ETA: Obviously, someone never paid to much attention to the jacket cover of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon" album. They were probably too high to have figured it out.

L'Oreal is leading the way. What this implies is that having white skin makes one a racist. What next, being white will be illegal? This isn't going to end well.

Txsteader, LOL... Right now, with the way things are going, I could probably pull some seemingly crazy and wild idea from out of my buttocks and the odds of it already having been publicly raised are probably 50/50. The odds are 100/1 that within the next two weeks it will be publicly raised.

Txsteader, The very term, so popular with leftists, "White Privilege" automatically accuses racism just by being white. It's going to be interesting to see how the advertising agencies handle this problem. They can eliminate all black character logos, but isn't that racist? They can eliminate all white character logos, but isn't that going to cause backlash? They're putting themselves in a box they're not going to get out of gracefully.

I don't want bright (yellow) teeth, I want white teeth! I don't want bright (grey) socks, I want white socks!
It's gotta be the stupidest advertising decision in the history of advertising. And seeing how ridiculously ignorant people are these days, I don't expect much of a financial backlash.

Txsteader , Nearly all the big ad agencies are on the coasts, where they're inculcated in the "woke" atmosphere. What they don't realize is the products they're paid to sell aren't going to attract buyers who feel insulted by their social justice messages.
With the way things are going, they might just as well label the products "Coastal Whatever", as their woke renaming and cowtowing to the mobs isn't going to play well in "flyover" country.
Here's an example of where their benefactor's products aren't going to be well received"
