A town here in the Ozarks, had a new man working at the crematorium, co worker had a 16 hour shift and laid down to take a nap. Yes, the horrible thing happened, so I won't repeat it, its just something you can't forget,

Guess I will do some searchin' on the net for a bit. ETA - Just from the little searching around I have done - may just be a hoax? ~Moi

I've heard that story before. Pretty sure it's glurge, so you can rest easy, ceresone . I know the one place over in WP that has a crematorium (it was the only one anyone used when I worked for Hospice a few years back). There's no reason anyone would "take a nap" in the kiln.

I have seen the inside of those things, and can report they do not REALLY clean and sweep them out in between customers, so anybody sleeping in one would come out looking like he had slept in a wood stove without the black charcoal smudges.
Not to say it is impossible, but on reflection sounds more like somebody covering up a murder.
"No, Ossifer, no foul play! The guy just crawled in there to take a nap!".....Joe
