Not 'breaking news' just something funny I saw today on my way home. First I saw a cute scene with a 3 or 4 year old girl on her trampoline, the kind with the safety net all around it. Seated next to her was probably a full grown Great Dane who was as tall as she was standing upright! (NOBODY'S worried about that kid getting snatched from her front yard, lol.)
So a few miles later I thought I saw another big dog seated next to someone's house, all black and about 150 lbs. too. Looked like he was munching on a snack, underneath a few bird feeders. My music was loud so he turned to look at me as I rode by.......that's when I realized it wasn't their dog! An adolescent black bear in the middle of the day, just having lunch. LMAO

As is my custom, about daybreak I take care of the rabbits out in the machine shed. A couple days ago I heard "alert zone three, alert zone three". Well, zone three alarm sensor is right behind the machine shed, so I very quietly opened the back door and looked out. Yup, zone three had sensed three deer, a doe and her fawns, of course this time of year the fawns are getting big. They all three just stood and looked at me, never bolting or acting scared. I was about 15 feet from the doe, and we had a staring contest for about 30 seconds before she was tired of looking at me and just wandered off with her kids.
