Election 'Manipulation' in Hinds County MS

They did this sort of thing all over the country. Everyone with half a brain knows that. They will do it again. And again. And again.

Sounds like they've got the goods on the scoundrels, and calling a press conference exposing them puts the pressure on law enforcement agencies to pay attention, for a change.

Here's a little more background on the guy in that video, David Archie. It seems he's been outing the corrupt politics in his county for awhile now.

The Hinds County Board of Supervisors voted 3-2 Wednesday during a special meeting to remove District 2 Supervisor David Archie from his roles as vice president and president-elect after months of heated discussions.

Archie alleges that Calhoun pushed to have him removed from his position for questioning Calhoun's actions as board president. Calhoun has denied the accusations in the past.


Archie has continued to level accusations against Calhoun since a July meeting, claiming the board president is running the county like a "dictator." In a few instances, Archie has disrupted some meetings of the board by banging on his desk continuously and shouting at Calhoun, stating the motion for his removal violates procedural standards and state law.

All due respect to members who live there, but the late great Walter E. Williams remarked on several occsions that Washington DC thanks it's lucky stars daily that Mississippi exists.

The district of Columbia is just barely one place above the bottom of nearly every list of things that reflect merit, and the only place that keeps them from being deal last is Mississippi .....Joe
