Yup, when I first read this my thought was "Ben Crump", that ambulance chasing lawyer who shows up every time a black man dies while being arrested. I've no idea if the tasers affected him, he was high on meth and three other drugs and might never have even felt them, but that many drugs in a person's system are trigger for a physical reaction.

Must have been some special tasers, I'm pretty sure they are good for 3 rounds and done.
It is very plausible the taser killed him, but the underlying conditions were the root cause. The autopsy will show how the current entered and exited, so if it was 13 times, the autopsy will show the entry and exit of voltage. Sweat and wet feet will keep the juice in you longer. Tasers are high voltage so the current can get to its target, but very low amps. I just got done with two days in Minneapolis for an electrical safety training class, and a 4-hour first responder course so it's still fresh in my head. Under no circumstances are you or an officer required to give medical aid if you might contact something from the victim, i.e. blood born pathogen, or illness, ect.

Courts have ruled that the cops are under no obligation to protect us peons, so there's that also.
This guy sounds similar to St. George Floyd in the drug use and health issues.
I don't understand how they could taze him that many times. I guess multiple tazers could have been used.
They call them non-lethal means to subdue a suspect but there have been a lot of cases where someone died after being tazed. Maybe twice should be the limit on them??
