@marionawfal BREAKING: RUSSIA CALLS FOR AN EMERGENCY SESSION OF THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL TOPIC: US AND UK BOMBING OF YEMEN Message: Russia considers the use of force in Yemen a violation of the United Nations I don't know what sort of mumbo jumbo the UN has for violations, but protecting free trade on the oceans has been fundamental for centuries.... It's why sea faring nations have this thing called a "Navy". The Russkies can call for this or that or unicorn farts all they want, but they have no standing in this. bd

It's incredible that they are throwing such a fit after they invaded Ukraine.

Err, if someone shoots at you, you're not entitled to shoot back? We should have wiped the Houthis out after their first rocket attack.
I supposed the critics think POTUS should go before Congress and ask permission to bomb Iran? Yeah, like that wouldn't be giving everyone a timely heads-up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of POTUS going nuts and just start bombing indiscriminately, but in the case of Iran, they've attacked our troops and ships using their proxies for years. They've been in an undeclared war with us for a very long time.

According to U.S. Defense Officials, the Joint-Missile and Airstrikes on Western Yemen earlier this past week by the United States and Britain have caused Damage to the Houthi’s Capability to launch Large-Scale Attacks using Cruise and Ballistic Missiles as well as Surface and Aerial Drones against Ships in the Red Sea; however, it is believed that within roughly Two Weeks the Houthi’s will have Reconstituted their Forces and will continue Significant Attacks on both Israel and Commercial Shipping with only 25% of their Offensive Capabilities said to have been Destroyed and/or Seriously Damaged.

The U.S. Military Aircraft which Shot Down a Anti-Ship Cruise Missile launched at the USS Laboon (DDG-58) in the Southern Red Sea earlier today, is now reported by Defense Officials to have not been a F/A-18 “Super Hornet” from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) like in previous Interceptions, but instead a Land-Based Aircraft likely with the U.S. Air Force on a Combat Air Patrol along the Western Yemeni Coast.
