Mitch McConnell has announced he'll step down from his position next November, citing his age and wanting to pass the baton to a new generation.
And just what is so important he won't step down today? Does he have another project on board to sell the republican voters down the river on that he just has to finish?
Another article I read mentions possibly John Cornyn taking his place. I think that would be even a bigger disaster than McConnell has been.

He has to wait. This is an election year. He wants to be on hand to asist in the brainwashing of anyone new that might come in this fall. Newbies show up with a plan to fix things....he wants to help "set them right" and explain that is NOT their mission.

Well, if it's Cornyn, McConnell won't need to worry about brainwashing. Cornyn's already drunk the koolaid & been selling us out. His re-election can't come soon enough - although I suspect the sorry so-and-so will decide to not run for re-election.
