My take on a certain Tuesday several states decide to vote for the crook of their choice to run in big election. Well most times this will put the crook with the most tacos so far ahead at that point those left with few tacos might as well go home hungry. My opinion is those few states chose the candidate that will run. It’s a combination of a republic and democracy in action. Hope this helps.

What sawmilljim, said. And it always fried my biscuits because there would be candidates that I would have liked to voted for but my state's primaries were always 2 months after super tuesday and my choices would be gone. I've always thought it was a raw deal for the other states, why isn't super tuesday done for all states at the same time? Let everyone have a say of who goes head to head in the general election. And don't feed me that garbage that "Oh Iowa has their 'thing' first but South Carolina is disenfranchised so let's give them first go" NO everyone should have the chance to 'go first' all at the same time, on the same day.

laurazone5, "Super Tuesday" is sort of like the Super Bowl, sounds sexier than Championship Game. There are several other ways to determine who's going to be the nominee, but the uni-party likes it this way for some unknown reason. Maybe it's so the candidates can schmooze the voters in states individually to begin with, which helps winnow out the weak ones early. Remember is 2020 when Biden wasn't winning a thing until Clybern in S Carolina endorsed him, then everyone else was "suggested" they should drop out? I guess it's easier to fix the primaries this way.
