I pretty quickly found that I disagreed with almost all their positions. It is because AARP is a wholly owned subsidiary of the left whose primary mission is to make money by selling insurance. There blatant dishonesty in pretending to be something they are not really disgusts me. I do hate it when an organization claims to represent all of a certain group, AARP is a good example and NOW is another, their claims are just assertions but they get a lot of leverage because the media refuses to call them on it.

AARP gets all their stuff sent back to them, if it comes with a postage paid envelope. Otherwise, it usually makes good fire starter paper. Have to remember to take out those plastic fake membership cards.

When you get right down to it, AARP is the marketing arm for United Health Care, one of the biggest insurance companies there is.
Take heart Pony, after about 5 years their mailings drop off to about 1 a month.

Their stuff goes right in the trash. Every call we receive from them has something to do with getting us to get free stuff from the government or sign up for something with United Insurance.
When the time comes, we will join AMAC.

And the way they treat their customers and employees is despicable. I'm sure their shareholders are pleased, but maybe they don't know how people who pay the premiums are treated.

I will never join the communist scumbags known as AARP. These traitors sold out those they are suppose to represent. Yet then they tried to get out of the "law" they fought to put into place.. This shows me they truly hate retirees. They have now helped to limit their members choices in how the member wants to handle their retirement.
AARP has helped line the pockets of the biggest health care providers and insurance companies and as such have proven who they really represent..
Well I can't say more with out getting profane, so I'll stop now..

Wow......We have the AARP UHC Supplemental health insurance and have never had one single problem with them.
They have a new AARP UHC Advantage plan and we have been going over it but it is not going to work for us. The hospital that we use and the hospital doctors are not on the new UHC Advantage plan.
We like what we have now, choice of doctors, hospital, with no co-pays or deductibles. We pay $7 for 3 month prescriptions.
You don't have to be a AARP member. Anybody can get it from UHC. For some reason my husband wants to keep his AARP membership.

Sorry I won't ever do business with AARP or anything they are connected with if possible. They fought for the fiasco 0bamacare and then went for a waiver so they wouldn't have to do it for their own employees.. This tells me who they really serve and it isn't their members. All I can say is they can go pound sand.

I agree but since he handles our ins, for the most part, I have learned to pick my battles. We did get good news on our prescriptions that we have been ordering by mail. They have gone down from $16 for 3 months supply to $8,

If I wanted Canadian-style health care, I'd LIVE in Canada.
