www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/editorials/2015/10/06/blooming-protest/ox6ngC3HpxgjHW7l9zKgKL/story.htmlI asked a niece who lives in the area of Disneyland whether they got away with such an ugliness. She said Disneyland "had reconsidered their policy based on negative public reaction." I have not been able to confirm this but I have seen that some other IT companies have proceeded with their similar policies. The above is a relatively mild view from the other side of the issue that indicates that immigrants are suing over the government's pulling back on the releasing of additional visas under this program. And that is certainly a problem of PCity- that rights are conveyed to non-citizens to displace American citizens.

My step-son had worked for Texas Instruments for 22 years, proofing engineer's drawings for computer chips. They outsourced his entire department to India, RIFed him, and sent him packing. About a 1 1/2 years later they called wanting him back, along with all the others in his department. It seems the people in India weren't catching the errors and letting the schematics go into production - millions lost. He went back, but a year later the bean counters stuck again. Less than a year after his second RIF, they called again. This time he told them to stuff it.
