This is from my friend, a 26 police vet this morning. He has been depressed for weeks. His good friend, another cop coworker friend, committed suicide about 6 wks ago. This is today, I am so worried about him.
I am absolutely shattered to my bare Soul in sadness and heartbreak at this latest attack on those in my profession. All day I have had extreme difficulty in trying to come to terms with what took place. Several times today the tears freely flowed. How anyone can have such hatred towards those that help others, that sacrifice it all is something I cannot begin to process. I've done this for 26 years now and I have never seen this level of evil or hatred. This world is a cruel and evil place....
Please pray for him. His name is Scott. He is a good and kind man, a father of two teenagers. He is divorced and the boys live with him.

And don't spare the prayers for ourselves, who are shooting ourselves in our collective feet too, in taking aim at the police.

Honestly, I feel quite safe were I live because....
So, many there have always been so msny who open carried. You know those crazy folks men and women going around shopping, eating out, going to friends, with a gun strapped to them. Where folks really practice on targets because hitting ones dinner with a clean shot matters.

Prayers to all our LEOs and their families. May God hold them in the palm of his hand.

I pray for our entire country, that God will heal our hearts and the division set up here. God does not see color, we are all an extrapolation of His love.
