We get used to hearing about the Arab world in terms of Islamic extremists and that often hardens us against the people of these nations because we don't think about the fact that there are actually Christians there, and they're being martyred. The Bible talks about a day when being Christian will be a threat to your life. That still seems like a far off prophecy here in this nation, maybe...but it's already happening over there. Iraq used to have a huge Christian population...now it's all but gone. Take a minute to pray for our people wherever they are in this world. "I’m proud to be an Iraqi, I love my country. But my [Muslim] country is not proud that I’m part of it. What is happening to my people [Christians] is nothing other than genocide. I beg you: do not call it a conflict. It's awkward to post because truly faithfully people are suffering ....what does one pray for to aid the...how can we aid them. This is really happening now..it's not looking back in history....

If it were me, I might ask for strength, faith, the fortitude to stand for my God even when they have the axe at my throat and enough of the heart of Christ to say "God forgive them, they know not what they do." For them, I will pray for His protection too...but I know that some believers are going to lose their lives for His name's sake. |

Yet while I toy with that selfishly I prey they die in their sleep prior to ever having to be torchered. Believing true faith exist whether tested or not thus mercy in faith not tested just sorta a rapture all die just be for leaving only human corpse ... sorta envision the let down for the those wanting a jihad.... maybe even cause them secretly to wonder if their faith is just ....
I over think these things... and I wonder if their suffering is to strengthen us to be greatful.

In our never-ending drive to be politically correct, we have admitted refugees from the ME of all stripes.
I think we should have concentrated on those refugees who have been severely persecuted - the Christians. Seems to me a Christian family might have more success blending into the American Melting Pot, than a Muslim family.

It is happening all over the world.
I am impressed by the Egyptian man who was not a Christ-follower, yet was arrested with a group that was beheaded. When asked if he was a Christian, he stated, "Their God is my God."
That is, to me, an incredible witness.

I think those "refugees" were hand picked for a purpose... they are actively denying visas to Christians from the Middle East, the ones who are truly suffering the the persecution there. |

There is only one person who has to approve refugee status. The President. It is not like immigration limits, which he ignores anyway. But refugee status is totally within his discretion. So you know where this is going before it starts.

What happened to Jews in Nazi Germany is a prime example of how the masses can be brainwashed into accepting all manner of evil. |

They talk about it, but it ain't happening. that is a common misconception, but it was never very common in Europe for every body to have a weapon, if you were not a hunter. Weapons were confiscated during the Weimar republic, right after the first WW. something about the surrender agreements. but I would have to look for particulars and I do not have time right now. |
