I would have thought that this is the type of thread that belonged in the "Area 52" portion.
At least until there was some actual, real, tangible evidence that proved that there has already been not only a coup attempt, but also a counter coup.

At least until there was some actual, real, tangible evidence that proved that there has already been not only a coup attempt, but also a counter coup. I would think the word of a very well respected member (Steve Pieczenik) of the intelligence community's word would be good enough to pass muster for truthfulness and evidence.
Steve Pieczenik has taught at the National Defense University and is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State. He is also a medical doctor. According to Pieczenik, he received a BA degree in Pre-Medicine and Psychology from Cornell in 1964, and later attended Cornell University Medical College. He attained his PhD in international relations from MIT while studying at Harvard Medical School. Pieczenik claims to be the first psychiatrist ever to receive a PhD focusing on international relations.
Pieczenik was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance and James Baker. His expertise includes foreign policy, international crisis management and psychological warfare. He served the presidential administrations of Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush in the capacity of deputy assistant secretary.
In 1974, Pieczenik joined the US State Department as a consultant to help in the restructuring of its Office for the Prevention of Terrorism.
In 1976, Pieczenik was made Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for management.

So with all of his credentials that you listed, is it too much to ask for in the form of just a little bit of tangible evidence? As opposed to just taking the word for someone that likes to refer to himself as a " maverick troublemaker. You make your own rules. You pay the consequences."

We will just have to wait, while we watch his site and the headlines, as I am certain this is far from over. Wow, there are so many doubting Thomases around here. It is good to have a healthy level of skepticism, but really now. Here is Steve Pieczenik's website, so you can follow developments right from the source: stevepieczenik.com/

Well that was interesting and exciting .... To me it looked like something serious was happening and reports of it were being wiped from the internet. The link I posted didn't work. So my instincts were to rally anyone on this site to find other reports before they were all wiped. Now I am thinking contingency plans .... How will I react to various contingencies ? Be very careful to consider the source.... Like I explained , I thought I had clicked Breibart but had clicked Beforeitsnews and began reading thinking I was on Breibart site

It is good to view some things with a bit of skepticism, but I think that OD'ing on skepticism is not a very healthy thing to do. With most of this having already occurred according to Pieczenik, why does he not release just a bit of actual evidence proving that he is just not pissing down our backs and trying to convince us that it is raining? What would be the harm in doing that? None that I can really see except that it would bring his "evidence" into the sunlight where it might not last very long. If he were to release some actual evidence I would think that the results of the election would be a forgone conclusion and the only way that Clinton would get anywhere near the White House again would be if she took one of the tours and even then she would be required to be in a straight jacket. But that is just me. I prefer actual evidence as opposed to whack-a-doodle conjecture.

I would like to see more too, believe me, but there are, apparently, many people in the intelligence community working on feeding emails and information to Julian Assange. We all know of the trumped up charges against him, the people trying to break into the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, rumors of attempts to kill Assange, etc. We have to realize people's lives (for those still active in the FBI, CIA, etc.) could easily be placed in unnecessary danger, and their covers blown, by revealing too much before the right time.

The Alex Jones interview of Steve Pieczenik is excellent, at least when Mr. Pieczenik is speaking. Mr. Pieczenik is one of the founders of the legendary Delta Force and he is the basis for Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan character.

I dislike the Clintons. They are arrogant, self indulgent and dishonest. But I don't think they would attempt an actual coup by any means other than hectoring and lecturing the public while thinking themselves above the law. Aided by the media, who refuses to report their awful behavior and deceit lest the liberal agenda be damaged.

I bet that Charlie Beckwith and Dick Meadows are rolling over in their graves over that one.

Wow!!!
I bet that Charlie Beckwith and Dick Meadows are rolling over in their graves over that one. Mr. Pieczenik did not correct Alex Jones when he introduced him as a creator of Delta Force.
Delta Force Creator Reveals Coup Against Hillary: www.infowars.com/delta-force-creator-reveals-coup-against-hillary/
I would not presume that Delta Force was only formed by the men doing the hands on training and commanding of that unit. Perhaps Pieczenik was involved in the formation of Delta Force, but more behind the scenes, not so much with the hands on or public aspects, as were people like Charlie Beckwith. I do know Mr. Pieczenik was involved in clandestine work, and often remained very much behind the scenes in other work he did for the U.S. Government. You do know, for example, that people who worked in the CIA who gave their lives and who are considered heroes, will forever be unrecognized, save for a star without a name on a wall at CIA headquarters."Pieczenik was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance and James Baker. At the US State Department, he served as a "specialist on hostage taking". He has been credited with devising successful negotiating strategies and tactics used in several high-profile hostage situations, including the 1976 TWA Flight 355 hostage situation and the 1977 kidnapping of the son of Cyprus' president. He was involved in negotiations for the release of Aldo Moro after Moro was kidnapped. As a renowned psychiatrist, he was utilized as a press source for early information on the mental state of the hostages involved in the Iranian hostage crisis after they were freed. In 1977, Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Mary McGrory described Stephen Pieczenik as "one of the most 'brilliantly competent' men in the field of terrorism". He worked "side by side" with Police Chief Maurice J. Cullinane in the Washington, D.C. command center of Mayor Walter Washington during the 1977 Hanafi Siege. In 1978, Pieczenik was known as "a psychiatrist and political scientist in the U.S. State Department whose credentials and experiences are probably unique among officials handling terrorist situations".On September 17, 1978 the Camp David Accords were signed. Pieczenik was at the secret Camp David negotiations leading up to the signing of the Accords. He worked out strategy and tactics based on psychopolitical dynamics. He correctly predicted that given their common backgrounds, Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin would get along. In 1979, he resigned as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State over the handling of the Iranian hostage crisis."-Wikipedia
