Not been here much lately . I got me one more project , doesn't everyone need one . I got a 1995 Ford Ranger extended cab 4x4 with automatic transmission off my cousen . This poor old truck had been rode hard way before he got it to drive while his truck was broke down . He is the type guy that will tell you everything wrong with a vehicle and leave nothing to chance. With the list of faults he was not even trying to sell it .The idea is the wife can drive it as the other two trucks here are all straight shift.
I started working on it at both ends as it had no rear brakes ,one side was not there at all, yep the ABS was unplugged. So to the internet and Rock Auto I went . Then up front we needed a radiator ,shroud, fan, and clutch for it . Mean while hunting parts at another kin's used car lot I spied a set of leather bucket seats with all the bells and whistles on them ,including heat. Yes you can direct bolt in Ford Explorer seats from a 2001 into a Extended cab Ranger with the 60\40 seats, just got to run the wires . While there I reworked the window motors locks and replaced both outside door handles .
Little truck is shaping up so good I said what the heck may as well get rid of all the scratches and dings while I am at it . So out with the DA sander and grab the paint gun.Keep on I'm going to have a thousand dollars in this truck !

Yep ,but I just couldn't stand for all those body shop supplies to sit there and not get used. I'm waiting for the eagle to fly on the third to buy paint. Meanwhile I'm sanding and filling dings. Good thing it is warmer I got to cut my whiskers off now ,darn respirator won't seal if I don't, this new stuff is bad to breath .

I have been pointedly ignoring a fleet that I inherited a couple of years ago, and just ordered a set of tires for a 1976 MGB roadster to get it up off of the ground. I also have a few others that I have to decide about.
a wrecked infinity QX-4 a 2005 chevy 1500 with wiring problems or computer stuff a geo metro convertable with fuel gel
I'm a bit scared of the MGB. If I get it running and like it, there is no end to the money you can spend on one. You can just about double the HP with add-ons and never even pull the engine. Not worth all that much when they are ready to go, either. Can't seem to leave it alone, though....Joe

She could go barefoot in the snow if the MGB needed a part. I tried driving it one time, once I got myself folded like an origami, my feet were too wide to easily use the clutch without hitting the brake.

My DH's mistress was a '64 Impala.
