For those who have not partaken, I suggest the two books about the life of Dr. Richard Feynman, the noted phisicist.
1. "surely you are joking, Mr. Feynman"
2. "What do you care what other people think"
There are some others, but not having read them, I'll not suggest them....yet.
They are a strange mix of humor, history, science, personal stuff...and REALLY entertaining and informative throughout.
He was at Los Alamos and worked on the A-bomb...was quite famous in his own right, and traveled the world giving lectures and such. You never know what the next chapter will bring, except lots more of his wild enthusiasm for everything within reach or eyesight. Scarcely a page not containing the word "wonderfull", and that description may be about something in nature or a painting he did of a hooker in Tucson.
Dedicated one chapter to how he learned to crack safes at Los Alimos......A great read....Joe

joebill, I will add these to my list, thanks! And I promise I will write a post about what I'm reading soon! I feel guilty because I suggested this and I haven't reviewed anything 😯 I've been so busy with the kids and my Mom.

I love Surely You're Joking, especially the little inside tidbits about Los Alamos and the Manhattan Project.
