towards certain groups they wish to marginalize or discredit, whereby they
have created a deliberate LIE of bigotry, towards muslims and Islam.
And that's NOT what The Oath Keepers are about; rather they vow to uphold
the Constitution and hold politicians accountable to do the same. They weren't
even present at this event. According to the latest Gallup polls, journalists rate
just a bit higher than lawyers in regards to professional integrity/honesty and this
was as of 2012. I would imagine that the figures are just about the same by now.

Dearborn, a Detroit suburb with a large Muslim population, has drawn radical protests in the past
and is one of more than a dozen cities where anti-Muslim rallies are planned across the nation Saturday.
The Oath Keepers, an activist organization that vows to uphold the Constitution and whose members
often openly carry firearms, are believed to be behind the effort called the Global Rally for Humanity.
And here are a couple of the responses in the comment section of that piece.

Yes we have spoken out about all of this publicly.
This was not our event, nor did we attend. This was a hit piece
or at a minimum the author did not research his sources. We would not have an event like this
because we are not an anti-Muslim organization. Our mission is to hold politicians to the constitution.

The author basically admitted to not actually knowing if we were there. He wrote:

"Believed to be behind the rally", so basically he is saying he doesn't know who who organized it,
but decided to pin it on the Oath Keepers. Then he takes a picture off the internet from the Ferguson
protest to attempt to link us to this event. NO JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY!
