Hey y'all! The folks did want it! They made an offer on it and we accepted it!! Yippee!!
Thanks to all of you for your prayers. They mean so much to me and God hears the fervent prayers of believers.

We are moving back to south Mississippi. I cannot stand the cold another winter!
I got really sick in the spring of 2014 and haven't been able to tolerate the cold weather since then. It seems to get down in my bones and make me miserable.

Don't know how I missed this thread but thankful that everything went well for you.....including the sale of your house. DH had a skin cancer removed a couple of years ago, from the corner of his eyelid closest to his nose. They also did the Mose procedure and it was not pleasant at all. Had to go deeper than they thought and pain deadener didn't work well enough. Anyway, they ended up having to remove a tear duct which causes the tears to run down his cheek now. But at least he still has sight in that eye. So now, along with nagging everyone about wearing sunscreen, I nag them about wearing sunglasses, too.

It was not too bad for me. But it certainly showed me that I am getting older and get tired quicker than I used to.

Update: still got a good size scar but like I told my hubby, I really don't care about any scars as long as I can still see out of this eye and the cancer is gone.
We are now in south MS and the house in MO closed this afternoon. I love the country side and the hard working folks in MO but I'll not be going back there. We have just bought 10 acres here that are heavily wooded and has a nice size pond on it with lots of fish in it. Looking forward to making it ours.

Well, Drats, I suddenly cannot remember how to ask what I want to know!! Is skin cancer something that returns over and over? Did consult and surgery go in one day? Was it biopsied first before you went, and they did surgery same day. Were you completely out, or local??? Seems I am facing that soon... My c pap mask probably gave me cancer! Some days, you re the dog, other days you, re. Well you know how it goes!

Maybe two days in December and a week in January

I am looking forward to winter down here this year.

ceresone, Did you ever get your questions answered about the skin cancer? Did you have surgery for it too? I'm so sorry that I didn't see your post before now. And I'm sorry for dragging this old thread back up but was going down a trail on the forum and ended up here. There has been so much that has happened since April 2019!
