I'll hear no evil against Kraft Cheese!.... Spring of 1979, my friend and previous employee, back driving an OTR truck after running wreckers for me all winter in 1978/79 in Illinois, got a trailer load of Kraft Cheese bound for "shaky side" (California), stopped by our rented house and we loaded every scrap of our household goods in atop that load of cheese. We followed him all the way back to Arizona, where we dropped our stuff off at a storage place while we found a house to rent. Bob proceeded to California with the cheese. Cheese is so dang heavy that the trailer can be loaded past the legal weight limit with only a couple of feet above the floor occupied. If Kraft had any idea how much freight is bootlegged atop their products, they would have a whole herd of cows, not just one. At the time, they were also delivering semi truck loads of private branded "Amish cheese" to the distributor in Arcola Il. When we saw the "Amish cheese" truck go by, we always chuckled about "another load of Kraftish cheese"......Joe
