Putting aside a bit of language, simply the easiest way to make wine I've ever seen...

Finally had time to watch it with my wife. That's about as simple and simple can get. My wife has been saving wine bottles for several years, no telling how many we've got stored.
We've got elderberry, blueberry, blackberry, chokecherry bushes on our place that we keep threatening to make wine from, but we always end up making jelly and jam. Buying some inexpensive juice at the store might be the answer.
Thanks!

Good grief!
My maternal grandfather was a rambling drunk, but this guy's sober rambling beats Grandpa Sullivan by a mile.
GET ON WITH IT.
Really not much different from the wine we made in high school. Juice, yeast, water in a bottle, put a balloon over the opening, wait while it ferments.
And yes, even in high school, we did rack it off. If Pawpaw likes to drink the lees with his wine, that's good for him. LOL

His stuff all moves at the same pace. There are a few gems on his channel, but you have to wade through the rambling. Have a glass of homemade wine, it helps.

You can make wine out of anything. Someone gave my late husband a wine making kit. Grapes, muscadine, blackberries, plums, cantaloupe, tomato, and I do not remember what else. There were 60 gallons of the various kinds. It was high quality and carefully racked. He did not drink but loved making wine.

My dear friend, Lynn, had a bunch of wine that her Michigan grandpa made. Oh, it was heady stuff!
She was down to her last couple of bottles, and she hoarded them for Special Girl Times.
Good memories.... I should give her a call...

My folks started making jugs of wine after Dad retired, and began with leaving the caps loose until the visiting preacher noted the smell on a visit.
Next they went to the balloons on the necks of the jugs and the next time he came for a visit there was a cluster of jugs on a TV tray, each with a long pink balloon standing at half mast. He literally cracked up at the sight and everybody was embarrassed, but they quit trying to hide what they were doing, so it was a win/win.....Joe
