Starting today in Louisiana, if you file a restraining order against someone and fail to show up for the court hearing, the filer will be responsible for all court costs.
Interesting...

good. that has long been a way to harass people. I could file for a order against you if I don't like your next post or the way you part your hair. You have to take off work, maybe hire a lawyer, I don't show up and laugh as you deal with all the trouble. It's too bad the filer doesn't have to automatically pay the costs of victim.

If you try to get a restraining order you should show up for the hearing. If not why waste government time, money and resources? Off to file a restraining order against DEKE, for his bad jokes now...
