It would seem there are a lot of patterns and such for homemade face masks.. Not the best I'm sure, but better than nothing.. Anyone with needle skills made anything like this.. ?? ?? I would think it a simple, fun, useful, winter craft to work on. Given the nature of the world today. Again to stress useful.. I have done some crude needle crafts.. Shopping bag type totes from feed bags. Wind socks and flags.. Cloth gun case sleeves... Nothing near craft type of cute.. But useful.. Here is one of many options.. This one was easy to download, save, print a copy for my "Homemade Things" note book.. Attachment Deleted

Have the pattern printed just haven't gotten around to making one yet. hopefully this weekend I can make some outlandish ones. the brighter and uglier the better. Maybe that will scare people off from thinking about coming too close to me. Bright pink, with neon orange and lime green, maybe a glow in the dark accent. I do have scrap baskets to thin out.
Plan on using a folded paper coffee filter for a filter. have a bag less vacuum cleaner, so no extra bags laying around to cut up. have read with the coffee filter you are getting close to 90% filtration. I figure the ugly will help on the 10% left.

Just strategically spatter red dye on the masks to make it look like you have been coughing up blood into the mask and no one will ever want to get close to you.

I've also been giving the batting scraps out with the masks.

It sure does. I think it was 1957 when NC outlawed wearing masks in public. About the same time similar laws were passed throughout the South because a few people were using fear and intimidation to criminally suppress Americans freedom and civil rights. That's as it should be. The one job gov't is charged to do is to protect our rights, not use fear and intimidation to take them away. While everyone else was acting as if it was cute and cuddly, I thought a visual aid would be a good way to remind folks that Fear is the Enemy of Freedom.
