She's pretty sure she already had it in February...seems like half the country thinks that.

Chuck Holton posted this over on FB.
it would be a real shame if everyone called the office of Judge Eric Moye, the pompous partisan hack who jailed a Dallas hairdresser for simply trying to feed her children. Tell him what you think of his actions. His office is actually answering the phone.

Now she’ll be rich, getting a lot more business when she opens up, plus the Go Fund me. So if she doesn’t get sick, she did good for herself.

She needs to assure the judge there are no hard feelings by offering to give him a free haircut. I suggest a reverse Mohawk.

The Barber shops opened here in Texas today and I really need a haircut but since I am a geezer that already has lung issues I'll go without for a while longer. Besides, I ordered clippers from Amazon that should be here Monday, I'm very close to just giving myself a buzz job and seeing how I like it (when I don't have to go out anywhere til it grows back).

Well I heard this morning that Shelly wouldn’t apologize to the judge, but was let out of prison. She’s now over $500, 000 richer than before she opened her salon, thanks to Go Fund Me.
I’m trying to think of something I could do for a Go Fund me...but I don’t want to do anything illegal. I could start one concerning my mental health decline due to Covid.🤪😷

+1 214-653-7337I called I called!! Actually someone answered & I just said: "Good AM, just wanted to ask if the judge is now ready to apologize to Shelley, the salon owner?" Answer: "Uh, I don't know, I'll pass on your question." Hah.

Besides, I ordered clippers from Amazon that should be here Monday, I'm very close to just giving myself a buzz job and seeing how I like it (when I don't have to go out anywhere til it grows back). For years I cut my own hair. My mother taught me how to do it. You take a Bic single blade razor and shave once with it to slightly take off the edge. Then break the guard off. Start about 2 or 3 inches down from the top of your head and gently shave a bit at a time around your whole head. Then move down an inch or two and do the same layering your hair. The back is the hardest because you have to use a couple of mirrors. Then use the blade to trim around the bottom to get it even. If the blade is too sharp you might take off more than you intend or irritate your neck when trimming the bottom. It has been years since I did this but I could do it again if I had to. My wife and I have a deal, she cuts my hair and I dye hers.

One of my high school class mates wound up investing a few hundred dollars in a reverse mohawk not long after we graduated HS.
Charlie went to barber school, got his diploma, bribed some licensed barber to claim to be his business partner for a year (had to do that in that time and place to get the license) and set himself up in a shop. Not long after he opened, a black guy with some crazy do sat down in the chair, and Charlie told him, quite honestly, that he had NEVER cut a black man's hair and was scared he would mess it up, suggested he try the shop down the block because that guy was black himself, a nice guy, did most of the black men's haircuts in the area for years and years.
The guy told Charlie he was in his chair and was GONNA get his hair cut, and Charlie protested one more time that he was NOT a bigot, would even be most pleased to kiss the black guy's sister to prove it or get phone references from some black friends for the guy but he REALLY did not know how to give a black guy a decent hair cut, whereupon the guy said, again, he was in Charlie's chair and Charlie was GONNA cut his hair.
That was when Charlie laid the clippers on the guy's forehead in the middle and made a single cut, to the scalp, front to back, then handed him the hand mirror. The guy looked in the mirror, said "you will hear from my lawyer" and left.
He settled our of court. I think he got off paying about $300....Joe
