I don't know beans about Branson tractors, but the company is running a national, no-haggle price on the 2515R with loader. 24.5hp (which means no DPF filter), shuttle shift, right about 4000 pounds tractor weight. $15,999. Caveat emptor, but if you are in the market, it may be worth a look.... bransontractors.com/product/2515r/

It sure looks pretty, but I won't spend that kind of money on a car, let alone a tractor.

JD's are generally great tractors, especially the larger ones. But you pay a huge price. When I bought my 2012 Kubota 70 HP, the closest thing I could find in JD was more than $20K more, roughly 40%. They had similar weight, lift power on the FEL, etc. I can't remember exactly why, but I still felt the JD was better, just not that much better.

John Deere has been running a special in our area for around the same price with the front loader and either a back how or a brush hog. Our JD like this is a huge blessing for our farm. I love it!

When I bought my Deere (with front end loader, backhoe and box blade) I had our local Kubota dealer spec out their tractor/implement combo that matched.
The Kubota dealer would not touch the Deere deal. And on top of the great price, Deere let me keep my money in the bank and with 0% interest I just dribble the money to them.
This was on a 59hp 5 series.
I had Kathy look over both tractors. That amazing woman said "Get the Deere...the tie rods on the Kubota are exposed to damage in front of the axle housing. The Deere's are protected".

Ended up with a Kubota, JD.was about $2500 more, but they did not have anything in stock. They gladly would have ordered one, but was several weeks out, am the kind of person if I go to town to buy, want to take it home. Not had a problem with the Kubota.Have three JD, that are larger than the Kabota. A big factor to me is the dealer. In this area there are only about four different brands sold.
