She has a broken wrist and 2 broken vertebrae. Just moved to ICU

Hang in there. Breathe. Prayers for healing.
Keep a responsible, organized family person in constant communication with her docs and nurses, etc. Ask questions. Not enough people do this.
My daddy was helicoptered out from a 50 mph Tbone right in his door at age 82. EMS said he should have been a goner. Broken bones and internal issues, stitches, etc. He's 89 now and awesome.

She is going into surgery for her wrist, it is badly broken. Multiple fractures, some old some new. Her bones look like Swiss cheese :-(

They couldn't operate on her wrist due to infection at the site of the break. Her IV infiltrated and the antibiotic medicine was pouring into the tissue of her arm, not her vein. So I'm not surprised that the are is infected. The surgeon cleaned the site and they will try again in a few days. She will have to have plates and pins in her arm. My poor mother can't even function mentally and ask the right questions, she is so upset. So if you pray, please pray that God will comfort her spirit and carry her during this time. Thank you all.

Father God, thank you for being with this family, and holding them through this store. We ask you to give Mom the peace she needs to think clearly, and let herself be held by You. We ask for comfort and pain relief for Grandma, and that you would speed healing of the infection so the surgeons can proceed. Of course, Lord, we think it would be great and know it is not beyond You to heal her before the surgeon goes back in. No matter how you choose to heal this family, we pray that it is for your glory and our good.

She had surgery and is recovering now. She is out of ICU! Her blood pressure and heart rate have stabilized, praise the Lord. Now she just needs time, and hopefully no pneumonia. Thank you everyone, I will update as needed.
