Even though I've been on antibiotics for 2 weeks (with one week to go), the darned cough is back and it's got an attitude.
If you feel so inclined, I'd appreciate prayer. I am so tired of feeling so awful...

Ok.... here's my heath tip... put vodka in a spray bottle... toss the store bought throat spray out and replace with the booze...consider adding orange food dye...I said a tip from college days.
Spray your throat... it has really help me and others... one bottle is five years old and not empty. It takes so little to spray it Ever fifteen minutes a till you go to sleep...think germs breed in the throat.

Prayers sent, but the heck with spray, just let the booze trickle down your throat. Even if it doesn't work you'll still feel better, or you won't care especially when the bottle is 1/2 gone.  |

My tip is to ask the Dr ofc for a shot of steroid and vitamin b.
We've had them as often as weekly when going through similar.
An inhaler or and/or rx cough syrup van help, too.
Sleep with pillows propped up. Flat chest makes it worse.
It can really zap you. It helps to do minor activity then do serious naps to recover til stamina returns slowly.
A different antibiotic may help more, zpacks are our go to. And, zofran or similar rx if the antibiotics and cough combo are causing any nausea or heartburn.
Winter cough can spell chronic dehydration too. A few Gatorade a day can help offset that a lot.
Don't know if this is what will help you or what you can do. But, I'm just tossing ideas at you that have helped my family when dealing with similar.
