We got rain and cats both. I finally got tired planting okra I would plant cats would see the fresh dirt and dig it up. One nice electric fence wire down the row fixed that. Can’t fix your rain though.

We've had an unusually wet Spring, but our garden is handling it very well so far. Rain the previous three days, but none today or any forecast for the next week. You can hear the hay growing.

cat problems in smaller areas can be solved cheaper by putting down landscape cloth with holes for the plants.....Joe

cat problems in smaller areas can be solved cheaper by putting down landscape cloth with holes for the plants.....Joe I wish I'd known about this a month ago, before I spent so much money to buy chicken wire to cover my raised beds to keep the cats out.

I used old semi trailer tarps cut one in half leaving a gap to plant my okra. As I’m somewhat of a horder total expenses was around $3.00 That tarp was a real chore before I cut it down to my size.

We've been having way too much rain for the past 3 years. I don't believe it's an accident. We've had 2 nice days in a row, but this morning they started putting up chemtrails again. We've had massive chemtrails for years. I have plenty of pictures of them saved on my computer. I looked at our weather 'forecast' and they're calling for rain starting Tuesday.
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning toward growing food indoors, hydroponically.

It is so dry that any out door flame can result with a fine. Smoke indoors!

RAIN!!! Normally, we have about an inch of rain a week average and get through the year with very little watering. This summer we've been dry; dry enough that very few people did fireworks because everything was so dry (that, and no one could afford the luxury of burning up that much money) Anyway, today we had an inch and a half and we're all doing the happy dance. Our corn and soybeans are looking better already and so is the whole garden. Happy Happy Happy

The weatherguessers have been teasing us with 30% predictions for weeks now, just to get our hopes up I'd guess. Most late June through July's are pretty dry here anyway, but doggone, not this dry.

I plantd in March and April. Nothing came up except the potatoes. The a couple of weeks ago the first planting came up...part of it. If I drop butternut squash seed on the ground a dozen will come up. Planted tomatoes 3 times and found the best thing to do is put I bird seed and they will leave my garden alone. But they prefer to drink water out of the hose than their bird dish.

We got a pretty good rain yesterday, but several places around here had straight-line winds and one even had a small tornado. They had the winds in town and it blew down several trees, knocking down 3 electric poles and closing a realtor and the Subway shop. It's still out this morning, but they're working on it. Our power was out for about 3 seconds, just long enough to mess up the clocks. We needed the rain.
