This was horrible. I wonder what the motive was. Read a comment in a forum this morning (from someone who had spent some time in a Japanese prison) that indicated they would have all the answers before long and the assassin would not be spending years on death row like they do here. Apparently time in a Japanese prison is not pleasant. |

Reports on the radio said the assassin is giving multiple and changing motives. Pictures of the weapon look like it was two pipes taped to a board, and witnesses say the explosion sounded like a bomb going off. Might have been a small hand cannon using gun powder and shrapnel.
But hey, he was wearing a cloth mask, so at least he was considerate enough not to give someone the flu.

Didn't Congress just authorize security for the Justices? Of course, if there's just a whole bunch of "protestors", a security detail couldn't do much but help him make an exit once they're inside. But how about blocking their entrance and calling the local cops to arrest them? And yes, there's a federal law forbidding harassing a federal judge to influence their decisions.
It's been long apparent the justice system is only to punish just-us.

Not that I'm some pundit on these matters, but I remember commenting that I wouldn't be surprised of he was just jerking their chain to expose them for what they really are...
A politicized, liberal autonomous entity that loves free speech, as long as it's free speech they agree with...
The 'Trump Trigger' i.e. promising to bringing back Trumps account and the meltdown that ensued proved the above point.
