This sweet little guy (then 5 yrs old) disappeared a year ago July from a home in this area. There now is “credible information” according to police, that his remains are buried in a backyard just minutes from his home. Since Friday night they have been excavating the backyard with heavy equipment, have had cadaver dogs on site, etc. Please pray for the parents and other family members, can’t even imagine the pain they’re feeling right now. Where is your neighbor... How is his behavior??? Quite sure he had nothing to do with it, and from all the research I’ve been able to do he doesn’t appear to have violent tendencies. A woman was arrested Friday who is suspected to be involved in the boy’s disappearance. Apparently when they were searching her house Friday, she suddenly claimed “God” had just told her some man had killed the boy and that her husband buried the boy in the neighbor’s back yard. 🙄 |

They are keeping pretty quiet about everything so not much for updates this week. I think they’re close to wrapping up the excavation of the backyard. The police chief believes there are remains on the property and they expect processing of the excavated material “could take significant time”. The woman who was arrested has not been cooperative and they believe others also know what happened to the little boy. I feel so bad for the parents.

The agony for this family just goes on - I can not even imagine. Yes. Just losing a child is gut wrenching. To have it drag out like this, and to imagine/know what that child likely went through would be agonizing. Don’t know if they are Christians or not but this would be an extreme test of faith. It would also be unbelievably difficult not to spend the rest of your life hating those involved. Update from yesterday…apparently the woman arrested in connection with the disappearance/death of the little boy has been found incompetent to attend a scheduled hearing. Not sure what that means as it seems she may be able to attend a future hearing? |
