Good deal! If I didn't already have a wrench/plier drawer full I'd take them up on that.
The best values I've found at HF are their air tools. I bought an air chisel with 5 bits for about $15 years ago. I don't use it often, but it's still working like new. I use it mainly for breaking small concrete, on punching holes in burn barrels.

HF is morphing. Yeah, you can still find some cheap stuff (maybe not as cheap as a couple of years ago), but their Icon and Hercules lines are meant to compete with anybody.

I saw some drill presses on sale there today. I had one that I know was likely 50 60 yrs old and I put it in storage when we bought our new house and someone broke in and stole it. Anyone have any experience with the drill presses at HF?

I've had one for a few years. It's a floor model, but not one of the expensive ones. It's ok for around the house work, but I wouldn't use one for Joebill type work.

I bought a small bench drill press quite a few years ago, pretty weak, but okay for small jobs. Don't know it they're improved or not.

I bought a 4 ton floor jack from HF, same jack 1/3 the cost of the snap-on. Last summer I picked up a metal band saw ($375) same as the JET my nephew has at 1/2 the cost. Nothing wrong with HF tools... but look at the reviews.
