I'll put this here since it is an unpopular opinion. I disagree at the end, because this event is the natural result of Communism, since it happened with Mao, and in Cambodia as well as other places, but I agree with the idea of incompetence, and callous lack of concern for people. I also agree as the reason why the idea of genocide is being promoted, as well as being cautious about Wikipedia. It is long but does give the other side of the argument.
Another thing I discovered from other sources; beside the bad weather, the local farmers who were against collectivization were known to burn their crops and kill their animals rather than let the government have them, which is understandable, but also made the problem worse.

There's never any justification for murder, and the planned genocide of millions who might be opposed to tyranny. It's the end result of following a charismatic psychopath whose insatiable quest for power over others is never quenched.
Academics look to central planning, errors in judgement, and even misguided faith in a theory, but it really all comes down to one thing - a manipulative evil mind.
Don't think for a moment there aren't people right here in our country who'd have no compunction about mass murder to bask in power over all those who remain. Human nature has extremes, and mis-wired brains aren't always apparent.

Those currently in power have made it very obvious, either intentionally or by the occasional slip of the tongue, what they wish for or intend to do to those not given to marching in lockstep.

The really strange thing about what's going on in our country is the apparent cross-purpose declarations of the various groups trying to tear the USA down. They make no sense when looked at logically.
Some want to completely stop using oil & gas, but have no idea how they'd drink fresh water, heat themselves, or move about. They don't think beyond their cause.
Some say we're terribly racist, yet urban black students receive the worst educations in the country, under almost entirely black total democrat control. But they keep voting for those same democrats, oblivious to the results of their votes.
"Gun Control" is the screech of the leftists, so they want to pass laws inhibiting lawful and honest gun owners from protecting themselves against those who couldn't care less about gun laws. Those same people in politics who want you and I unarmed have armed protection. Against who? Oh, probably those same people who will have guns no matter how many laws are passed.
The alphabet people want morality to evaporate to clear the way for their every perversion. They claim victim status, although data shows they're in less danger than the people they'd like to victimize if allowed.
Know who are the real victims of these perverse groups? White Christian men, who've nearly been erased from TV commercials, by their very existence are called white supremacists, and blamed for every ill this country suffers from. I don't mean to insult conservative women, but the reason we have such a large number of democrat voters is due to liberal women, many over educated, but all ignorant.
The real threat to our country aren't those groups I've described above, and others, it's the fact that they have no idea they're no more than the "useful idiots" Lenin described, and used. They look no further than their personal causes, without understanding they're just cogs in the communist/socialist gears meant to grind us into an unachievable utopian future.

"Religion + Money + Power" has always been the downfall of man. Humans claim a 'god' (pick one any one) and used that god to obtain money/power. THEN in the NAME of their god, used that money and power to subjugate humans, collectively. There is nothing new under the sun. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/religionHumans. Not just "_________ men". Not just "________" women. All. Humans. IF we as humans, cannot do the simple basic things, like letting a car go ahead of you in traffic........what on God's Green Earth do you expect when it comes to the big things? Looking at Sodom and Gamorrah, the times of Noah, I wonder: just how bad was it, and how are we not equally or worse? Then His Mercy comes to mind. I chose to focus on His Mercy for me, and how I should extend that. For THAT is what "I" will be Judged. "For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you" Trust me, I have enough on my plate, I cannot will not should not add too it. There is a reason it is "eternity"......and I feel bad for the guy behind me in line to give an account......... |
