Knowing the area, if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

Or it is called 'coalburning'.
This girl was 15 - where were her parents?

I wonder if the rap music culture, where girls are referred to in vulgar and demeaning ways makes the life of a young black girl worth less? Rap is built on the gangsta ethic, where nothing is important other than the singer's tough guy image. Cops are to be killed, drugs are to be sold, women are to be used and disposed of, a societal nightmare.
Teenage minds are capable of recognition of the results of their actions, but they have to be taught. Heck, in that environment they've seen fellow criminals go to prison for long periods. Yet they persist in doing things that will ruin their lives forever, out of emotion because nobody sat them down when they were young and explained that touching a hot stove would burn them, don't do it. Consequences of making stupid decisions need to be taught young.

The girls seem to be competing with the young men for who can be the most foul mouthed, vulgar and vicious. Gangs of teen girls looting stores, stealing cars, vandalism, beating up anyone in their path, etc.

The 'boyfriend' is black, the 'girlfriend' was white. But, yes, the rap "songs" are vulgar & make all girls/women to be less than nothing. Life is not valued any longer.
