It seems reasonable to me that the trial shouldn't last more than a couple days. All Trump's lawyers have to do is run the tape of the black boxes being rolled out from under the cloth covered table, after the inspectors had been sent home, and running those ballots two and three times. Then let the prosecution explain why any reasonable person wouldn't wonder if there was some cheating going on.
The 2020 election was a sham, one that Venezuela would be ashamed of.

It this farce was any more political, they'd have ballot drop-off boxes for conviction.
Local authorities have options to fingerprinting and mugshots, it's called prosecutorial discretion. There's no need for a dog & pony show, or even appearing in person.
It's a darn shame there's no shame left in this political world. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying here, but Trump would be justified in declaring "forgive them, for they know not what they do". Our wonderful (once) country would have never abided this atrocity, but we're in a different world now where the corrupt government can do what it wants, to anybody it wants, with no fear of repercussions.

IMHO that’s the main purpose for the J-6 arrests and Trump’s arrest…to show us no one, from an 81 yr old Army vet to the President, is safe. |

Today was a shameful day. As of today, with the exception of a handful of people, I totally despise the entire Republican party. From here on out I will vote my conscience. If Trump accomplished nothing else, he exposed the Swamp…in both parties….and there’s almost no difference. Don’t think a third party would last long before becoming corrupt as well, but it might buy us a little more time. Either way, I’m done voting for the cream of the cr@p. Yes, to your first question (I’m still royally POd), but I admit I was 🤣 when I saw the mugshot which he posted shortly after. And despite the personal flaws, this is what I love about the man, they’ll never keep him down. He’ll come up swinging every time. When I saw the mugshot, I was stunned by the resemblance to another man I have a lot of admiration for…and who also had his share of flaws and more than a bit of ego.
