Aderrien Murry, who is Black, was seriously wounded by police after his mother asked him to call the police when the father of one of his half-siblings became angry. They were at their home in Indianola, Mississippi. When police arrived, Murry was shot in the chest by Sgt Greg Capers after police ordered everyone in the house to put their hands up. Murry had emerged running from around a corner and headed for the door, according to relatives. His injuries included a collapsed lung, fractured rib and lacerated liver. “We are committed to seeking justice for Aderrien and his family, and we will persist in our efforts to ensure accountability through the civil legal process,” the family’s lawyer Carlos Moore said in a statement to NPR. more at link

From the article:
First of all, what difference does it make if he was black? And secondly, what kind of description is "became angry"? Does that mean he was violent or threatening with a gun? Was there some reason the police wanted everyone to come out with their hands up and empty?
Ask any cop, the one type of call they absolutely hate to get is "domestic disturbance". There's no telling who or what is going to attack them. The number of times are uncountable that a wife will call the police on a husband who's beating her, then attack the cops when they're arresting him.

This is modern "journalism". Not enough pertinent information but plenty of stuff that doesn't matter. They do like to stir up race stuff too.
ETA: If it matters, the cop was black also.

Had several friends in law enforcement back in Texas who stated the same from experience.

Greg Capers is speaking out in an exclusive interview with "GMA3" co-anchor DeMarco Morgan after a grand jury decided not to indict him in the shooting of an unarmed 11-year-old boy inside his Mississippi home. "People have their own opinion, and unless they're in our shoes, you never know exactly what you may run into or encounter on a day's time, within your 12-hour schedules," Capers said when asked what he thinks about people who believe he acted poorly during the incident. He continued, "You just never know what you may run into. Spur of the moment, it's a split decision that has to be made." Capers said he has shed many tears over the incident, and thinks about the boy, Aderrien Murry, "all the time." more at link
