cjhopkins.substack.com/p/meet-the-thought-policeSo, my trial for thoughtcrimes in New Normal Germany takes place next Tuesday, January 23rd. It will likely be a one-day affair. It’s open to the public, so, if you’re in Berlin, you can come and watch at the Berlin District Court, Turmstraße 91, Room 371. The proceedings are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon. Yes, that’s right, the German authorities are actually putting me on trial for my thoughtcrimes. I stand accused of criminal tweeting because I mocked the New Normal German authorities and pointed out one of their many lies. Here are the two thoughtcrime Tweets at issue. The one on the left reads, “The masks are ideological-conformity symbols. That is all they are. That is all they have ever been. Stop acting like they have ever been anything else, or get used to wearing them.” The one on the right is a quote by Karl Lauterbach, who, believe it or not, is still the Health Minister of Germany. It reads “The masks always send out a signal.” more at link *Like I said on another thread, Germany is 'woke' and headed to tyranny also.

cjhopkins.substack.com/p/the-verdictThe Verdict So, my show trial for thoughtcrimes in criminal court in New Normal Germany went pretty well. I was acquitted. Technically, it isn’t all over, because the prosecutor has a week to appeal the decision, but, given the circumstances, I doubt he will. He made a total fool of himself in front of a large audience yesterday. I can’t imagine that he will want to do that again. I’ll write about my day in court in detail once I’ve slept for week. I’m exhausted. This Kafkaesque mockery of justice has been going for eight months now, and it has been rather stressful. For now, I’m just going to provide a few links to coverage of the trial and my statement to the court (which anyone is free to share and republish). Despite (or perhaps because of) the coverage of this story by some of the mainstream press — i.e., The Atlantic and Neue Zürcher Zeitung — Matt Taibbi for Racket News and many independent media outlets, not one mainstream German journalist has had the courage (or has been given permission) to report on it. So, here’s some coverage from the independent German media. Aya Velázquez has published extensive coverage and analysis in both English and German, which I recommend. (Aya gets it. The real story here is not about me; it’s about the criminalization of dissent, a subject with which Aya is all too familiar.) Epoch TV interviewed me and my lawyer, Friedemann Däblitz, after the trial. You can watch it on YouTube, if it hasn’t been censored yet. The Epoch Times wrote up the proceedings (in German) here … more at link

With the exception of criminal trial, this reminds me of the censoring of any "anti-vax" information on the internet in this country. It's the nature of governments, once they're comfortable in their powers to become dictatorial. It's time we made them uncomfortable.

sunny225, We start by putting Trump back in office, then conservative media and conservatives in general need to put pressure on him to live up to his rhetoric. There's a Babylon Bee article that says something like "In tragic news, although thousands of journalists have been laid off, many still have jobs". The leftists/Marxists are losing their traction with their influence over public attitudes. If there's one thing Trump pays attention to it's his likeability, and as the leftists lose their megaphones the conservatives can pick up theirs to "guide" him to common sense governing.
