@marionawfal 🚨🇪🇨BREAKING: ECUADOR SUFFERS NATIONWIDE BLACKOUT
The nationwide blackout is due to a transmission line failure, causing a “cascade disconnection,” according to Public Infrastructure Minister Roberto Luque.
Luque:
“The immediate report that we received from the CENACE (National Center of Energy Control) is that there is a failure in the transmission line that caused a cascade disconnection, so there is no energy service on a national scale.”
Efforts are underway to resolve the issue promptly.

Ecuador was pretty nice 10-15 years ago but it's in bad shape lately. There have been quite a few major blackouts. The economy sucks. The Colombian cartel and the president are at war. It's a mess.
