More than 800,000 refugees RETURNING to Syria as Putin OBLITERATES Islamic StateMORE than 800,000 refugees are set to return to Syria thanks to Vladimir Putin's heroic efforts to smash the Islamic State.By Tom Parfitt UPDATED: 09:53, Thu, Oct 29, 2015
Last month Moscow launched a bombing campaign against the twisted State terror group, which controls vast swathes of Syria and has forced thousands of people to flee the country.
Many desperate asylum seekers have made their way to Europe via boats to Greece, with David Cameron agreeing to let 20,000 in Britain over the next five years.
But Russia's bid to wipe out ISIS has been so successful that almost a million Syrians are elected to return to their homeland, Russian politician Dmitry Sablin claimed.
Russian fighter jets have destroyed 285 ISIS and al-Nusra Front targets in the war-torn country over the past three days, according to Russian media. read more............. www.express.co.uk/news/world/615466/Vladimir-Putin-refugee-crisis-Islamic-State-ISIS-Syria-Bashar-Assad
Obama is preparing the factually true speech that claims that during his term in office ISIS was obliterated.
Is this the same President Putin who we keep being told is a violent warmonger who will make things worse? He has just shown the world that he is effective AND he can be trusted to do exactly what he says. Compare and contrast to our own worldwide reputation of late. Putin = Hero......Obama = Zero!!

First of all, if the headline turns out to be true in regards to them returning 'home'......
YIPEE!!!
Of course, I'll reserve finally judgment on the matter regarding believing it, when I actually see it happen. Personally, I think most of it is hype; either from the gooberments to calm their own citizens' fears of Islamic invaders, or their liberal media, who are the lapdogs doing what their masters tell them to say or print.
As to the 'real' reason(s) for them actually returning, I'm a bit more dubious....
Seems I was reading in various and sundry places, that they can't stand the cold, forests and rain!!!
Oh yeah, and a lot of the "freebies" either weren't quite up to their standards or were slow in coming at all.
So.... Putin driving out ISIS sounds as likely a reason to give, as any, for going back.....

I thinks it's a bit early for Putin to be declaring victory.

Probably so...... This may be more correct. Wall Street Journal By Olga Razumovskaya and Nathan Hodge Oct. 27, 2015 5:30 a.m. ET MOSCOW—The Russian government is waging a campaign at home for hearts and minds over Syria, using social networks to drum up support for its military campaign to back Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Since it began its air war Sept. 30, Russia’s military has released a stream of flashy videos online showing warplanes dropping bombs and missiles on ground targets in Syria. Within hours of the first airstrikes, the Defense Ministry had posted footage on Facebook of bombing runs, garnering thousands of shares and likes. Russia says it is carrying out precision strikes to avoid hitting civilians—Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday called reports of civilian casualties a “newspaper hoax” meant to discredit Russia, according to state news agencies. Indeed, the images released show a slick, sanitized vision of war, emphasizing Russia’s ability to wage high-tech warfare. The videogame-style footage appears designed to appeal to young, Internet-savvy Russians. On VKontakte, Russia’s most popular social network, users shared the footage and praised Russia for rescuing Syria—and the world—from the threat of the Islamic State extremist group, also known as ISIS. “Just a couple of more weeks. No ISIS,” said a commenter who identified himself as Semyon Chernigov from the city of Engels, about 500 miles southeast of Moscow. “Glory to Russia.” www.wsj.com/articles/russia-goes-online-to-win-generation-putin-to-syria-campaign-1445938202?mod=fox_australian#livefyre-comment

The Russians are mostly using dumb bombs so there is a lot of 'collateral' damage. I don't really know why anyone would believe one word of Russian agitprop.

That's the first thing I noticed in their initial footage of their bombing raids. It looked to be straight out of WWII films. Their bombs were scattered over a huge area. "Smart" bombs are a good deal pricier than dumb ones, and Russia isn't known for it's humanitarian tendencies, but don't look for any international criticism of their tactics. We all know who the international punching bag is.

Well I'm sure when Putin finishes he will follow the US lead in rebuilding the country and letting the Russian people pay the bill People better take notice unlike the US if Putin gets peed off enough he will throw everything including the kitchen sink at you

I'm not a big Putin fan, but Obama could sure take some leadership lessons from him.

Putin is just doing what any leader should do, looking after his country's interests. I wish ours did. Putin is no fool and he understands the dangers of Islam very well. Both the Shia and Sunni branches are radical but about all the terror groups are Sunni and, since they make up about 80% of Muslims, they are the biggest problem. Putin is siding with Iran and Assad, who is an Alewite and largely a secular leader who protected Christians and Jews in Syria. Meanwhile, Obama supports radicals who have destroyed Libya, Yemen, tried to destroy Egypt and now Syria.

@pony nailed it I think. Look at whom each have allied themselves. Obama has no love for the West and is set to destroy as much of it as possible by bringing in more and more Muslims. Look who he has appointed to high positions. Oh for a Presdent who loves his country! Putin may be cruel, but he loves Russia.

You nailed it on the appointments to high positions. Why cannot everybody in this whole country not see what we see? It is right out there in the open! I have come to the conclusion that silly Americans are going to believe what the people that they listen to tell them. They would not stoop so low to listen to someone who is trying to tell you the truth. Nothing is so blind as those who refuse to see.
