Trident missile launch sparks UFO freakout in Los Angeles and on Twitter "An unannounced Trident missile launch lit up the skies over Los Angeles on Saturday night, setting off a hail of UFO reports, tense tweets and YouTube videos.
After the flare-up, the U.S. Navy confirmed that the USS Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine that’s homeported at the Bangor submarine base on the Kitsap Peninsula, conducted a “scheduled, on-going system evaluation test” in the Navy’s Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California. The missile was not armed, the Navy said in its statement..."www.geekwire.com/2015/trident-missile-launch-sparks-ufo-freak-out-in-los-angeles-and-on-twitter/Apparently LAX was ordered to divert flights for something like a week without being told why. Next thing you know, people see this thermonuclear missile flying through the sky and figure the mothership is landing. It's just a "routine" test, they say. It occurs to me that there's nothing routine about testing such a missile over LA. Seems like they wanted it to be viewed. As I have no trust of any official report really, I consider the whole thing a big "?" Maybe it was a US weapon...maybe not? Maybe it was unarmed, maybe it wasn't? Just wondering what folks might think this was all about.

I have to agree, it just doesn't make any sense. They've got the whole Pacific Ocean to play in, and they shoot off a missile near LA? I wouldn't even hazard a guess as to what they're up to, except that it's not what they say it is.

I hope we don't get a clue in the form of incoming missiles. It was Russians near the cables, if I'm not mistaken (or mislead by the media). I've also heard some say that the warning shot was for China.
