I'm working on it, but I'm having a hard time keeping from sounding like my "Getting By" story.
Besides, this warm weather has us hauling rabbit/sheep/chicken poop out to the garden a wagon load at a time. A person has to have priorities you know.

With our new administration in office, I felt the need to read this again.
Tom, If you get bored this winter, you could always write more stories...😁

There is a Biblical Prophecy that says something along the lines of "before those days there will be no hire for man or beast" it goes on to talk about violence. In Bible terms "hire" means paycheck in modern terminology. To have no paychecks you either have to have a banking crisis where the banks are shut down and no paychecks can be cashed or electronically deposited, or you have to have a complete currency collapse where the money is no good, and no one wants it. I'd probably bet on the first myself. Though it says elsewhere that, it is as if you put your money in a bag with holes in it, which is more like inflation, you put enough money in your bag to buy a loaf of bread but when you get to the store you don't have enough, it is like money leaked out of your bag. I'm expecting a bank collapse to last minimally 3 weeks but could last twice that easily. I am thinking that for everyone to lose out on a paycheck, 3 weeks would have to be the minimum since some are paid monthly, some biweekly some weekly and if timed just right, 3 weeks is the least, but I sort of expect longer.
