France has been bombing Islamic State positions in Iraq and Syria for months as part of a U.S.-led operation. Following Friday's mayhem, Paris vowed to destroy the group. Underlining its resolve, French jets on Sunday launched their biggest raids in Syria to date, hitting its stronghold in Raqqa. "The raid ... including 10 fighter jets, was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Twenty bombs were dropped," the Defence Ministry said. Among the targets were a munitions depot and training camp. There was no word on casualties or the damage inflicted. www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/france-bombs-isis-syria_5648ef7be4b06037734982c4?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

Who is arming, training and financing these jihadists? The intelligence of the Great Powers must know, but do nothing. It;s time to cut the head of the true bosses off. Killing "Jihadist John" and others like him is a Hollywood style action,to calm the people. There is hundreds of "Jihadist John" in the waiting list. Since the beginning i suspect about the somewhat unexpected immigrants wave and the probable infiltration or creation of this sudden wave. Looks like the Western intelligence is sleeping or what.

Ask Val, or huma think about it if you toss in Obama relatives and just go thru a few of their phone books... I think if we turn them.Over to Putin.... he might solve it. Heck even inform France, Germany, sweden..the Netherlands. Just let Obama play golf. It would be better then having our commander take the lead.

...........The Irony is that we spent 10 years in Iraq\Afghanistan , nation building , killing lots of locals who had nothing to do with 9\11 because most of the 9\11'ers were from Saudi ! Daddy Bush's advisers told George to leave Saddam alone and IN POWER , but he and his shadow Chaney didn't listen very well . ...........So , now , when we and the rest of the world have a valid reason for putting boots on the ground , our Reluctant President won't take the initiative and RE INvade Iraq and Syria to wipe ISIS off the Map . Meanwhile PUTIN , looking to reassert Russian power and world influence has moved into the vacuum left by Obama and formed strong Alliances with Iran and Iraq ! , fordy

They can bomb the heck out of ISIS targets but that will not resolve the terrorists unless they are willing to address the issue of homegrown terrorism and their own sad venality with regards to importing labor. There has been such a common theme to terrorists aftermaths that include the usual stories from neighbors of the terrorist being surprised and going on about how nice and pleasant they were living there. For me the issue has a lot to do with creating disrespect in our own citizenry from the constant carping on own own faults in history and refusing to see that others faults are just as bad and frequently much worse. If we do not respect ourselves, how can we expect others, who do respect themselves to excess, to do so? For example how can liberals endlessly carp on Americans having had slaves while ignoring both the Muslim involvement in supplying slaves and still having them? They rant on sexual bias in the US and in the next breath agree to ignore the virtual slavery of women in Islamic worlds. They think themselves so much better than the "common run" of Americans because they carp and hector from the safety that was created for them by the very things they criticize. If they tried even faintly to have some perspective and respect, it could be a positive building experience. Instead they turn it into a vindictive witch hunt that is a disease.

How serious have we been about ISIS? We've been flying about 11 sorties a day, with half coming back with their bombs. During Operation Iraqi Freedom we were flying up to 1000 a day. We don't even have a carrier group in the Mediterranean. We're just now sending one, it should be there in about 3 weeks.
Similar to the Benghazi attack, obama is just keeping his fingers crossed nothing big happens until he's gone. For Benghazi it was reelection, now it's for legacy. His personal aspirations are more important than innocent lives.

Listened to James Langford R-OK who is on both homeland security committee and state intel committee. He said since we have no strategy, the rest of hte world waits. Waits for US to set a strategy-the rest of the world will follow if we set a path & say this is what we'll do, then they will commit. He said he wonders why broncobama (kudos to 7th swan for htat one!)said ISIS is contained. They are not contained. He said he'd been in countless classified meetings as well as public meetings & heard no one speak of strategy. This admin's strategy is containment. Keep it from expanding. Tell that to Paris, to the beheadings, to Pakistan, Tunisis, Egypt, Afghan'stn, even Garland TX. If they had not been stopped there, it woulda been the same as Paris. Chilling.
Mike McCaul sent a letter saying stop all the Syrain refuges. The FBI, Nat'l counter terrorism, & Homeland Security lack the intel neccessarey to vet them.
So far 8 gov'nrs declining to take any.

An't it odd on the lamestream news there in nothing said about Russia kicking butt .O can't do or say much at this point with out a good chance of kick starting WWIII and he sure don't want to tell the world Putin has one upped him again as it appears he thinks that everyone is to stupid to notice . Bad thing is Assad is the elected leader not only that but the US was backing his overthrow . There was never a real reason for the US to be there in the first place much less to arm ISIS along with the Free Syria army in direct violation of international law
But no laws seam to apply to O anyway
For once O appears to be doing the only smart thing he has ever done, but out !

Last I heard 15 Governors refused to have the refugees in their respective states. Will Obama be traveling to France for any ceremonies?
