It's really hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.

Hmmmmmmmm.....
a likely story is as good excuse as any.
I just happened to find 'it' somewhere on the web and 'it followed me home'.... so I put it up for adoption HERE!
Guess we found it another home?

Reminds me of what I told my surgeon, "surgeons are the best doctors, they know their patients inside and out."

Another one I made up today, There is the guy who was addicted to saving money, taking money out of the bank was like going through withdrawal.
You can pity may family if you want.

Just heard this story: The lady next door was up late alone, watching a horror movie, The slasher had patiently watched his next victim through the window and at the right moment burst in and slaughtered his unsuspecting prey. She was unnerved by the movie and thought how the side door was open, yes the storm door was locked but to be safe she thought she'd better close the inside door and lock it. As she approached the door there in the darkness were two piercing eyes staring at her through the lower pane of the window. With a startled gasp terror vibrated through her body. It turned out that our dog was being a peeping tom.
