DH has a 5hp compressor motor that's on the fritz. Needs to know, is the starting capacitor always wired to the cutout switch in that type of setup?
Appreciate any help.

LOL, yeah it's fixed sawmilljim ,. He got another motor. Good . I just don't seem to check this board often enough. I am hard on air compressors as I have a large supply of body work tools .

I have eliminated all but the shop compressor by carrying a medium sized bottle of co2 in the back of the service truck with a regulat or on it. I can air tires, bun an impact or nail gun, anything that would need 100 PSI of air works on it just fine, and most tanks last about 6 months or longer.
Tippmann has the co2 regulators that screw right onto the tanks and are permanently set at about 100 PSI.....Joe
