The city council passed a law banning magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds and gave residents a 60 day grace period to turn them in or get rid of them. The grace period has expired and not one magazine was turned in. Zero. BTW, the article says the city council exempted themselves from the ban as usual. defense-training.com/dti/no-credibility/

If they need magazines, I'll be glad to send them my old copies of American Rifleman from the NRA.

And that's all it is... a game. Rules are apparently made to be broken. Besides, this law was based on the same premise that if guns were outlawed, then criminals wouldn't have them either. Poppycock! (Sorry there poppy; that comment really wasn't directed at you.) At least for once, the people are beginning to see the light. BTW: I'm 'sure' that the people took the 2nd option made available to them; hence the reason none were turned in. They got rid of them privately.

So glad we left there. I feel like people have responsibility to recognize the writing on the wall so to speak, and make their moves before it becomes a crisis.
The writing on the wall in California has been there for decades. And, a lot of people left a lot.
Kinda have the same logic about a lot of immigrants. If you can't fix what's wrong where you are. Do whatever you can to leave BEFORE the shtf.
But, I do not have guilt about not feeling that I gave an obligation to accept enormous swaths of immigrants here because they suddenly realized its shtf time where they are from.
