Her uterus is about to explode, so they had to do an emerg surgery to remove it. 1600.00
Pray for smoothe surgery, easy recovery and I can get her back tomorrow. Pray that I will be able to pick up shifts, and that folks are extra gratuitious so I can pay this bill. She's my baby. My other Jack, her sister, is lost......they have never been separated in their 8.5 years of life.......

Praise the Lord, Bella is fine! The bill was 100.00 less than quote, that's good too. The Vet gave me a picture of her uterus........wow.........the vet was not exaggerating when she said it was about to explode. Bella has to wear a cone on her head for 7 days, and go back in 7 to get her stictches out. Poor thing, she has a 'cold' too....
Thank you for your prayers. My fur babies have been thru a lot this year, and I love those silly dogs an awful lot.

laurazone5 , laurazone5 Good news indeed. You and your babies have both been through a lot so I'm happy you've got good news. 7 days will pass quickly I hope for Bella and her cone and we'll hope her recovery is swift and complete.

laurazone5,that is wonderful news, When my Sammie was attacked by a pit bull and her chest ripped open, after her surgery, they put a cone on her. She could not adapt to it at all and someone on HT told me to roll up a small towel and put it around her neck, secure it with safety pins. It worked great and she was able to sleep with it on and walk around. With the hard one, she would not move, eat or drink water.

gapeach, What a great idea. I'm keeping that in my back pocket in case I ever need it. I always feel bad for the poor fur babies with cones on.

I don't think we would have ever got her to eat with that hard cone on. She was like she was paralyzed. Finally on the 4th day after surgery, I got her to lick some peanut butter off my finger and to drink a little milk. It is so good to know these little helpful things when you are dealing with an injured or sick pet.
